American DreamA Poem by ThreeWritesWanted to write a little on my sister
My sister is attempting to paint the perfect family picture,
But all I’ve done is sit down and simply disrespect, attempt to diss her. Like how I’ve never been acquainted, or brought up to respect her Mr. Mr. We all have our problems, like how I would stare down his sister, I never want to hurt them, but at the end of the day, I’m a real fixer, I can bring down a storm of words on their home, like it’s been hit by a classic American twister. The frame needs a different angle, I don’t want nothing to do with this 5 minute draft, looking like elephant crap, classic picture. She can write, so I don’t want to send something she winds up turning into a mixer, Something is up, I’m either telling a joke, like a classic trickster, Or I’m getting closer to an end, or getting fed up with this constant bicker. Something in my head is starting to flicker, I’ve done nothing right, so that’s where it all stems from, now my poem turned into a real personal shitter. This is a paradox, I just wrote a bit of a spitter. I’m glad she found the puzzle piece that really fit her, but I can’t find her picture, so I can’t ruin it with a pair of scissors. © 2024 ThreeWrites |
