BurdensA Poem by ThreeWritesI’ve learned most of my lessons on writing from a young man from Algeria. So I dedicate most of this towards him. But to my spiritual mentor as well. For his words of wisdom to be able to use today.
I’ve been working on my poetic skills, they’ve improved tremendously!
It’s all thanks to a guy I’ve never met, his name I can’t pronounce, and he tells me so many things. Like how I can’t do so many kinds of jinxing, writing is all around, glued, but walls are peel- in, For him, it’s the Djinn that you don’t want to let in, the evil spirit of Djinn, is a spirit that lies from within. His life sounds so awful, he’s told me so many horrendous stories, with countless themes. But we both have our religions, that will keep us clean, I’ve learned god will always hold our hands, and forgive, while never being seen. Heal us of all our sin, he’s never forgotten never mean. I have so many goals, but they never lineup with all my dreams, I can see it, I’m being chased, demons catching up to me. They want what we all have, money is the answer, it’s the key. Clearly the monsters want everything from us, it’s money, it’s greed! If I take a bite from this apple, I will pay, never be payed, I will bleed, But I’ve chosen a brighter path, narrow and more space, while others get cramped, nobody nice to meet. While going to the same exact place. No entrance, unless you have an actual seat. One day you’ll see, I’ve been saved, I’ve been set free… © 2023 ThreeWrites |
