The starsA Poem by Threads-Our stars are ever so
far away The midnight moon
wanes Our thoughts, today
they delay The dream it remains We admire their glow
in the distance Like fireflies their
essence is that of magic In their distant perfection we resign if not to take the moment in dance why behold a thing so tragic; or benign My star is ever so far
away The tides still linger My thoughts, today
they delay The memory is bigger When you feel the
stars are finally close enough to touch, they shrink back to
the distance From that safe distance we look at each other in wonder to ponder of how a thing can be,
to such, perfection by our eyes
in existence of this endless
