A single set of lunar footsteps

A poem by Thorn! Yeah!! Formerly titled "Lunar footsteps"

Like a fool,
I'm walking on the moon.
No-one around to tell me what to do.
Like a fool,
I'm watching the sun rise,
Over golden dust and lunar seas.
Like a fool,
I'm doing as I please.
And I thought you'd be here too.

This is really just a trial. I wrote it in about three minutes.

After reading this, I think I need to trash all my 3 minuters ... is that a word even? lol.. I like it.. it's light and heavy at the same time. It invokes a scene of a person in a space suite bouncing around on the lunar surface.. giggling.. but then turning around to share the giggles... then the giggles turning to tears when the astronaut sees she is alone.. It's wonderful! Keep writing and I will keep reading!

You know, for a trial it is really good, I like the way it sounds when I read it,,it kind of makes me think of how you wish to have someone that is with you ..no matter what thoughts you are having , I think it works,
