"Journey"

"Journey"

A Chapter by Tommy
"

Another inspiration from the likes of Ed. Drawn from his piece "a-maze-ing" http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/edhart7/668621/

"

I have been taken on the journey of life,

and although

I'm longing for so much more,

I realize what has been

is a lesson,

and being able to live is a gift

given through a magical

vast expression;

                            "Yes!" It is enough,

because I realize,

my travels have just begun...

smirk. You've really emulated Ed here, Tommy, even down to the oddly spaced verse break. You've also got his tone of introspection. Sometimes, when pieces are written in tribute to or inspired by, we can get lost in the tone and style and forget to add our own hallmarks.

here this is not the case. This is still you!! Congrats

Stunning especially the last two lines. Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows but without the trials would we truly appreciate the food times and life on earth is only the beginning or at least in my belief.od God and afterlife

The road of life leads to many destinations. Sometimes the trip is the best part, though.
