"I Grow Dark"

"I Grow Dark"

A Poem by Tommy

Whispering thoughts of reverence,

traced through memories sketched

into the image of this soul; lost

to the recollections of past emotions.

Clarity to visions spent, gives truth

to reflection of inspirations shared;

left emptied and dark to desires

of the future. Stricken by faith!

Alone to this devotion for life

shared, and apart from happiness;

I grow dark! Locked in with hopes of

the healing light's return to presence.

Peace will come with looks drawn

in through the window to the soul,

lip reading the whispered words

of love for two together as one.
