A Broken man

i have listed this as a poem, although im unsure if it is within this category. this is not a half hashed attempt to tug on the heart stings it is a depiction of events that permanently changed me.

A broken man.

A broken man is a crushed spirit, a soul with no purpose direction or the emotion has all gone drained by his loss

The passion has fled leaving a void where a part of his life was torn from

His purpose unclear, unknown and overwhelmed by thoughts of a life lost

A broken man weeps but only with thoughts that consume.

The man with no passion no emotion, is broken he knows these voids cannot be filled and waits for the only inevitability he knows, the day he is reunited,

 The day he is whole

 The day he fades, and passes his broken heritage onto the legacy he leaves behind,

 Spawning a new age of broken souls destined to walk to their own impending fate unknowing of their inevitable burden.

 

This is the real plight of a broken life.

 

This is not a poem it is a recollected feeling from a broken man whose legacy will leave only sadness and burden those who loved him most.

just have no confidence in my writing and have never written properly before.
this very strongly effected by an event in my life and wrote this and my other piece around the same time based on emotions that changed my life.
