I Ain't Ever Been Homeless (Poem 2)

Poem 2 of a series of poems with the same title.

But I've been tired
And I've slept on the street
I've slept on a floor
And that time in the car
I've had a mattress on the ground
In an attic with no walls
No heat for the cold
Or cold for the heat
And that one time I slept on the street

I loved this poem and the first one. I especially like the last line that ties everything together. Can't wait to read more :)
