We Don't Even Realize We're LivingA Poem by Tom English
We don't even realize we're living
We're too busy hating Too busy worrying and fighting We're too concerned with looks and money Overworked and tired Never even stopping to realize We're alive My skin can touch your skin My lips can touch your lips The birds, They sing They know that they're living The flowers, They bloom They know that they're living The music of life is all around us And it too knows that it's living So good ahead and keep focusing All your energy on a life that you hate I'm going to be out here living If I live without a care in the world I'll die with a smile on my face © 2013 Tom EnglishFeatured Review
