Go on! Give it a read! You know you want to...

"
Their dwellings do not define them
A recluse exists outside the window,
beyond the door They are Strangers
who've lost their hearts in spiritual
wars Their souls have swam to a
different plane What you are per-
ceiving is the sentiments of a ske -
leton left in the frame

Who knows what creates a recluse? The poet here suggests emotional wounds are the reason. Other things might also contribute to their isolative ways. The Boo Radley character in "To Kill a Mockingbird," for instance, comes across as mentally ill. Then there are spiritual seekers who seek solitude for closer communion with higher consciousness. Usually they don't bother anyone, so let them be.
