On that night out, the one that we shared...
I found myself walking, walking away from you. My legs carried me wearily, drunkenly and I felt compelled to find some distance, seek shelter. You are all those good times that I never really had, deprivation. The black night winds blew cold and I sailed away from that stuffy English pub Where we sang songs... And I'm afraid, I missed your true warmth; each step an ache Deprivation Writing this poem now, in the sober light of day I find respite in the absence of your bliss inducing smile This is my solace
