All`s Fair in Love and War?A Poem by ThoctarThis one is not an addition to my I guess `series`, its just a seperate one aimed at a common maxim. All’s Fair In Love and War? You say that all is fair All is fair in Love and War And if you continue to think that They will be indistinguishable All is fair huh? So you can justify anything? Anything at all? Justifying atrocities to your mind That attitude will one day cause you ruin Not only your ruin But the ruin of all All is fair? If you continue Love will become war A spiral of atrocities Justified by that old maxim All’s fair in Love and War Until Love is War A constant assault on the object of your affection That is what it will get you All if fair in Love, in War, because there is no difference anymore Love has become War and War has become Love And you continue to justify it all And call it all fair Your fairness is nothing but lies The creation of your mind You own personal delusion But in your own mind it is all fair You have created your own reality And force it upon everyone else But it is all fair to you Because all is fair in love and war and War and Love
