The Fall

The Fall

A Poem by Kai
"

Found this in a notebook of mine

"

Grim faces slip by me
As I walk down the lane
Thinking of you
And what you meant to me

Unrelenting fears torment me
Deep in the dark
Like creatures of the night
They're clawing at my mind

The shadows assemble
Preparing to prove our loss
Because the fall from innocence
Is always the hardest

Unrelenting memories torment me
Deep in the dark
Like creatures of the night
They're clawing at my mind

the last lines
unrelenting memories torment me
deep in the dark
like creatures of the night
they're clawing at my mind
those reaffirm your idea and how much you're hurt and suffering

Seems kinda dark and lonely. But, don't get me wrong, it's very good and highly mature for something a you wrote in 9th grade. Good work!
