Yoshi and KirbyA Poem by ThisVivianWhile in an ABAB rhyme scheme, my poem also has exactly 100 words. (This is also a very true story of whenever there's a storm for my 2 dogs.)My pups are in bed, tightly together. They need, 'course, each other, because of the weather!
The ground is so wet, such clouds in the sky! Yoshi, Kirby shiver, I'd ask myself, "why"?!
Seeing me, they get up. Yoshi barks, Kirby groans. Both clawing our door, they'd want, of course, bones!
I open the door. they sit, they're gracious. My smile grows wider: these dogs, they're precious!
They perform their neat tricks: both wait for their treat. So then I give each one, of course they both eat!
Now both satisfied, they’re both in content. Wagging their tails: happiness represent! © 2017 ThisVivian |
