Sweet Life

This poem's in ABAB form and, as most of my other writings, has 100 words.

Life can be like a box of chocolates,

since it should usually be sweet.

Admirers keep their hearts in lockets,

and so couples are able to meet!

 

To gain love's like a sweet treat:

affection makes wonderful lives.

Suitors court, making hearts beat,

to make precious husbands and wives!

 

Darlings cannot be replaced easily,

since they can usually stay in love.

When they move through life breezily,

lovers can then be struck from above!

 

Sometimes life just seems too short,

and can never be delayed for long.

Sweethearts are usually easy to court,

so of course they should stay strong!
