Freckles

In just three seconds I fell in love...

Convincing myself this

     feelings would just fade

But then I paused

     and looked above,

How can I?

If you’re the funniest person

      my eyes have ever laid?

 

I love your eyes

I liked your hair

I missed the times we always share

For me, we make the coolest pair

 

Well, I really don’t know

      when this attraction started

It just hit me

     like a bullet in the head

‘coz looking back

     it was just nothing

When you held my hand

     while running

 

Oh! I remember...

It was when you touched

       the freckles  on my cheeks

       that chills run down my spine.

At those times,

I love my fast heart beating just fine

 

You said you also have

       those in your face

From then on, I hold my freckled

        cheeks like a diamond vase

When you said that, in your eyes,

I saw sincerity

That moment, I was really

            very happy

 

Remembering the old days,

            You were just a friend

Playing, laughing unaware

            Of the closeness

In those times, we never really cared

All we think is the shared happiness

And now, I never thought
