Writing In Blue.

I've always hated writing in blue

I've always preferred black.

I've never been good at saying what I mean.

I'm always afraid you'll write back.

I could easily write you off

Just submit you to a book.

but in order to find the memory,

I'd have to take a look...

back.

So instead I'll scrawl the words

I've always meant to say to you.

Problem is I'm out of black,

So I'll write to you in blue.

Very subtle layers of brilliance here, it's evident, but not shining through, this just goes to show the sort of masterpieces you could write through!

I'd love to see a ":" (colon, sorry typing it like that looked weird) in the second last line after "Problem is" just to give a pause before the punch, beyond that minute detail, this is a marvelous piece.

I admit, this did confuse me a little in where it was going halfway through when it seemed to take a turn, but overall it is very nice.. I like the easy way you seem to rhyme and the flow for the most part was lovely..

one question...

"So I'll to write you in blue."... this made me stumble a little.. did you mean (So, I'll write (to) you in blue?)
