You Who Cut Out The Stars

You Who Cut Out The Stars

A Poem by L.E.Osborne
"

Just a sweet poem about the love of good parents.

"
When I was little you’d cut out the stars,
And trail them behind you at night.
So when I got worried you’d strayed too far,
I could find them and I’d be alright.

And when I was younger but bigger than small,
You’d tuck me in bed safe and warm.
And still leave the stars I needed so much,
To shelter me from any storm.

When I got older and wanted you less,
I’d bawl it and scream in your face.
But still there they were a path to your heart,
Those stars left all over the place.

Gee
That is so sweet. Always rely on mum for sanctuary and an un judging ear.( the old fella upped and left many moons ago.
No reviews....shocking.
