Grey and Silver

Grey and Silver

A Chapter by DIVYA

I saw you as the sky sees

 extreme lightning

~ searing its bosom with zigzag fury,

bolts of silver flashing bright,

ripping apart my blues,

forever blinding my soul.

Electric, your charge,

whizzing, crackling, tearing through my substance,

vaporizing all my clouds,

leaving my horizons naked,

consumed by your raw, merciless light.

It was an ending and a beginning and an ending,

So apocalyptic, so terrifying,

yet so unbearably beautiful!

You split my world open,

leaving not a trace of you.

While I keep smarting,

longing for another vision of you.

And all this while,

you've never even known that I exist!
