Stealing and Leaving Me

Just a short poem / whatever thing that I sometimes like to write in my free time. This one was about a guy being crazy over a girl and she left him. He looked for her, found her, and she walked away.

You stole my mind,

turned it inside-out,

made me mad about you

and then you walked away.

 

There's never a day,

never a beat of my singing heart,

listening to the rhythm it plays

where I'm not thinking about you.

 

I searched

over and over

again and again,

never giving up.

 

Then I saw you

with another man,

standing there,

with a smile on your face.

 

Your hair was billowing around

like an angel with a halo.

Our eyes met

and you gave an unbelieving glare.

 

I swear I'd never seen

such shock and fiery sparks.

You turned around,

never looking back.

 

You stole my mind,

turned it inside-out,

made me mad about you

and then you walked away.

Tell me what you think of it if you would. I like to write but I'm not to sure that I'm good at it and I know I probably made a few mistakes in here without realizing it.
