The Philosophical Child

The Philosophical Child

A Poem by Sai
"

The purest minds yet the most dangerous thoughts.

"
Children have the most purest minds yet the most vivid and deepest questions;

They remind us of the parts of us that we have buried deep inside our minds and our hearts;

It's only within seconds that a child asks you a question that opens the window to that which you have so tightly shut;

They are the only ones that can truly reach into you.

I like this Sai.
The single question 'Why? ' has driven many a parent nuts as the child tries to remove the layers to something puzzling them and they do it with gusto like a boxer working the speedball.
Great wee observational piece.
