A little love poem!

JUST MAYBE

 

Maybe one day I can add lyrics to the instrumental
Song that plays in my head when I am graced with
Your presence, your voice, your touch, your love…

 

Just maybe

There is a song and a poem out there that has
The same rhythm as the beat of your heart
The changing of the musical pace is heard when your smile
Appears to shine down on each of our spirits.

 

Just maybe

I want to write the love song that is played at every wedding
I want to write the love song that every couple refers to
As “their song”, “their jam” “their inspiration for love”.
I want love…I really want you
My only wish…is for us to experience bliss

 

Just maybe

In time when your soul is joined with my matching soul
The song will be complete with a lead vocalist and a full
Church Choir behind singing the words from my heart to yours.
In the future maybe you can testify to me that love is indeed real
In the future maybe it is your love that I will feel
In the future baby…
