At least I finally know

I was trying to date a beautiful girl and based off of this poem you can tell her reaction

It all started a few months back
I had always thought you were beautiful
And I finally built up enough courage to ask you out
You agreed
From my point of view, we hit it off
But you can't just fall for someone
You have to take your time
I spent a few lunches
And months in agony
Hoping
Praying
That you would finally fall
Because if you ask me
It's nice at the bottom of that cliff
And I would give you a nice soft landing in my arms
But you took one look down and walked away
I don't blame you for how you are
I still find you amazing
Just, now, when I think of how amazing
There's only pain
It's amazing how fast pain can replace hope
Luckily the strong arms that would've caught you
Are strong enough to hold onto that pain
Just as long as necessary
And then let it go
Rein that hope back in
Just for someone else
But while I have that pain
I'll sit here wondering what could have been
But at least I finally know
At least I can find someone to give that love to
And I don't care how long that takes
I'll find the right girl...eventually
