Glimpse of you

Sitting in class for summer school then you walked in

For the most part it was just another routine day
Get up
Take the dogs out
Get ready
Bring them back in because it's gonna be hot
Head off to summer school two hours early
Sit, listen to music, and wait
When I got into class hardly anyone was there
It was the start of the new session
My friend and I sat in line with each other
Babbling on about how much the program sucked
I knew you were gonna start that day
I was disappointed when you didn't come in with the others
I knew that meant you went to a different class
After what seemed like ages
Someone came through the door
I figured it was the usual administrator
But when I looked up it was this beautiful girl
It was you
My heart doubled it's bpm
I started sweating
I don't even know if you noticed if I was in the room
But I definitely noticed you
You held my attention for way too long
My computer had signed me out
But I was happy to sign back in
Because I caught a glimpse of you
