Rainy Night Poem
A Poem by T.S. Sky
Frightfully scary poem.
- The night a cold
mask
-
Shrouding the demons
-
and creatures
-
who go bump in the night
-
-
Shadows dart here and there
-
Bright yellow eyes
-
Stare at you
-
from a branch
-
up above
-
-
Things that lurk and stalk
-
the innocent
-
wait patiently
-
for you to entertain them
-
-
With your fear they snarl and laugh
-
they clap their bony paws
-
then they ever so quietly
-
walk right up to you
-
and whisper your name
-
-
To play with you
-
for eternity
-
in the dark

Or so you would think is a cat. Could it be something more frightful. Thank you for liking my poem.
