Trapped Behind the Window of Life

Trapped Behind the Window of Life

A Poem by Theresa

Every morning I wake up and go through the motions of the day

It is a viscious cycle I can not escape

My life has become a routine

Spotaneity no longer exists

I feel trapped within my own life

I undeniably became that girl

The girl looking out at the world

No longer apart of it

Just an observer

Desperately hoping for a change

But change can not come without drastic measures

Measures that hold me back and keep me trapped

Trapped behind this window of life

Well written poem with a degree of sadness and reality adequate to compare to a thousand like-minded thoughts of individuals with the same degree of longing you have. A universal poem.

This is lovely..
every one dislikes the routine of life ,getting trapped in its daily cares and worries
All will want to escape this vicious cycle,to be free ,to feel a change everyday
to feel the world moving and moving with it,not being carried along
not just observing..it will come ,by itself ,it happened to all ,it happened to me
one day you will feel it ,not being pulled by others ,but feeling others being pulled behind you
its a lovely feelings ,you will see then..
I really liked this..
lovely write..
