This beautifully imperfect, peacefully chaotic planet is the product of the selfishness of man and the beauty of overall creation. Humanity was created to exist as social being's that each possess unique talents and traits, that are meant to be presented to our fellow neighbor's. So that our fellow brothers and sisters strive and thrive to heights we all aspire to achieve, this sort of social interaction seems so ideal to me.
However along the timeline of human kind we decided to oppose our pre-programmed nature; slowly appraising our lusts and downgrading the values our grandparent's wished for us as youngin's to absorb. But human's are constantly deconstructing and assembling new "values" of course.
But these "values" were based on materialistic, social, financial, and religious differences which caused our species to go ballistic. Egocentric thinking provoked our inner demons who distorted our reality and destroyed our wishful thinking.
Emotional retardation is a strain of disease that causes an uncontrollable and unbearable pain across the youth of this world. Failing to understand one and other is what triggers prevailing hatred which sadly negated the implanted love for our neighbors. Instead of compassion, we secretly wish for larger mansions. Instead of equality and honesty, these are replaced with capitalistic atrocities.
Humans that have adopted this sense of entitlement are toxic to positive environments. The powerhouse "playmaker's" are upheld while the teamplayer's are tosses down the side of the hill that these unfortunate souls worked so hard to build.
I simply hope my lost brethren accepts positivity into their black souls. I, personally, have found that endearment will always hold more value than any form of gold. Unfortunately this negative brainwashing has existed since the first rich man influencing what he considered the "lessers." I fear that man kind has endured too much treachery, to the point that our only interests lay within the growth of our own personal treasuries.
I disagree with the other review that was left. Though the world is a very beautiful, astonishing, loving place, on the other side of the coin, it is also corrupt, overwhelmingly dark and negative. I enjoyed your writing because I have been down many roads and I now can clearly see both sides of the spectrum. People these days seem to put their main focus into money, status and material things. When it should be easily recognizable that those things do not matter at the core of your soul. Don't get me wrong, those things can be great to attain, but being on the road I am now, I search for far more meaningful things. Thanks for sharing. Keep writing, keep creating.
Spending my entire life in first-world-Britain, it is clear the values of people upheld generations ago are no longer regarded. What would our ancestors think if they looked upon us now? And further still, how might we feel if we were to look upon our future descendants and the values they might then uphold?

My grandparents grew up at a time when "separate but equal" was the law, half the population was disenfranchised and when you could die from smallpox. Roll back Britain a few generations. Do the values of the unskilled working class of the Victorian era, or the stratified society that created those class distinctions seem in the least desirable?
I, too, disagree with the first review. It stands as a commentary on our current values. Only one line seems out of sync: "downgrading the values our grandparent's wished for us as youngin's to absorb". With your alluding to the beginning of time and the language used throughout, this line seems out of place. Maybe: "downgrading the values our ancestors wished for all their young to absorb" or something like that. Otherwise, thoughtful and introspective piece.

It is too preachy, "emotional retardation ... capitalistic atrocities." You've lost me. You posit an odd view of human nature that was never actually so.
