And So I Kept LivingA Poem by Theodore LeeI saw that there were wonders of this world, And So I Kept Living. I discovered that there are lights to witness, And So I Kept Living. I found that there are true examples of human creation to be shared with the universe, And So I Kept Living. I saw the lies and toils of man, And So I Kept Living. I peered through the haze of our own creation, And So I Kept Living. I took part in a world of hate and fear in the slaughter of intelligence, And So I Kept Living. I saw the beauty of the human eye And So I Kept Living. I found light in a cave of darkness, And So I Kept Living. I discovered our ability to see suffering and come to aid when needed, And So I Kept Living. I fell from grace without hope, And So I Kept Living. I was week when I could have been strong, And So I Kept Living. I saw in myself the demons that will always haunt and torment me, And So I Kept Living. I found answers, And So I Kept Living. I sought the truth of life, And So I Kept Living. I wandered the world in search of clarity and made discoveries, And So I Kept Living. I found hope, And So I Kept Living. I saw the light, And So I Kept Living. I found the one thing in my life that I would not only fight die for but live for, And So I Keep Living. © 2018 Theodore LeeReviews
