The Train

The Train

A Poem by Theo Addage
"

The Train

"

The nervous juncture

So unsure whether she would show
She was suppose to be here an hour ago

They say the Train is not running on clip
I sit here shaking, I really need just a nip

I was up so early to make sure the house was prepared
I was a mess and about to lose my hair

Oh my, as it squeaks to a halt
I really hope we can tweak our faults

They start to get off the Train
I do not see her, my shaking is insane

There's an amazing prize
I cannot believe my eyes

The beauty unveiled
I can never fail

The tears are pushing from my toes
The love we have no one knows

The hug we share
I can guarantee will never compare

Will the Train come again
Or is it time for it all to End

I have always loved trains, but i have never loved waiting for them:/ however it is always an admirable trait to go and wait even if it doesn't come with the right passenger

The last few lines are truly emotional. Nicely expressed poem.
