To Be Human

 

Perfection

Perfection is the goal of humanity

Whether it be personal or public

Humans have always strived for perfection

As a whole

We frown upon the ordinary

We frown upon the common

We frown upon the anything

That does not match

Our idea of greatness

Every day we change

We change our clothes

We change our hair

We change our own personality

To become more perfect.

Whatever happened to be yourself

Whatever happened to the time

Where uniqueness

Was understood and respected ?

How can we look down upon

Others in this world

We are all created equal

We are all flawed

As a rule

To be flawed

To be imperfect

To be equal

To be different

To love and to be loved

Despite everything

Is to be human
