Simple MagnificenceA Poem by CeosBleak gray towers Of vast twisted steel With matching dark storm clouds Hovering above
Mankind has always stood in awe Of themselves and their creations Creating the the complex and ugly Is our great specialty
A tall tower of concrete and glass Can not mach The natural towers of bark and leaves That sway instand of standing rigid In the howling wind
Stone fountains contain crystal water Warm and docile Do not convey Water's beatiful radiance
It cascades down in brilliant rainbows In glistening drops and flows That catch the sun's rays In every direction
Or it may foam and forth In emerald green and saphire blue In towering waves Over fields and plains of aqua
I myself Favor the range Of mountains high and majestic Glowing royal purple in the distance Where on their lofty peaks Of heaven and nature's true design
From towering peaks The world is seen as a canvas Paints flowing across the land Guided by the true Master's hand Creating magnificent beauty In utter simplicity © 2011 CeosAuthor's Note
