The Cry of A Heart Broken Child

The Cry of A Heart Broken Child

A Poem by DailyWyatt

Why mother?

why do you hate me?

Why must you break me down?

Not with fists or hands

But with your eyes and words

What have i done wrong?

Did I say something?

Did I do something i shouldn't

you tell me no

But your eyes peirce my heart

Like a burning dagger forged from rage

The selfishness radiates from every layer of your skin

The anger and rage flows like a flood of pain

I just don't know what ive done to deserve this

You say your not mad but i feel the strain of your voice

As you hold back your tears

Is it because of him?

Yes? I know it is

Yoi can't stand the fact that im going with him

But he's my father

You? I'm leaving because of you?

Why must every thing be about you?

I'm leaving because of me

And if you can't except that

Then fine be mad,Don't make amends

Sit there in your pool of depression

And hate with pain in every room

Like some old forgotten stone

I AM ME NOT YOU

And untill you realize that i make my own decisions

Then I am never coming back

Very strong. I love the last verse. Your passion for this piece was very well expressed. I love "Sit there in your pool of depression

And hate with pain in every room

Like some old forgotten stone"

These few lines expressed your "anger" twoard her behavior twoard you.

Great piece. Love it. :D
