To me you are music

To me you are music

A Poem by ThoughtsIBought

To me you are Elise
So for at least a moon lit moment
won't you let your fingers slip
like quarter tones between the keys.
The way you wear that dress is clair de lune
With eyes like Rhapsody in Blue
A smile that fills rooms like the Fifth
and a sigh like Brahms Lullabye
Yes I could play cliche, and say you struck a chord
of course you did but so much more
A classic, and class act
A jazz standard thats got me falling
like autumn leaves
It seems
It's as easy as breathing for you to leave me speachless
So I'll hold my breath and hope these notes sustain you
When words fall short it's music that explains you
