Hope Nerd Poet Made Idea

Nerd is my third favorite four letter word
and with a half a dozen different definitions
I should explain it's position
To me nerd is a catalyst between identity and knowledge
Where creativity begets more creativity

I am an ever expanding archive of art and artifact
A history book of fictional escapades
and factual biographies
A mind refined by a thousand worlds and times

Where you’ll find me is neck deep
In research rabbit holes
From Shakespeare to Sandman
From lost Lenore to Pauly Shore

and with all that you might assume a lack of social life
No sir! I hang with the coolest cats
From Fritz and Felix to Binx, Jinx, and the Sphinx
Also the panthers. Both Black and Pink
I’ve even got a picture of me and Archie on a Dark Horse in DC
It’s a really Marvelous Image

But forget the fictional friends list
I’d rather be known for Frozone cold flows
To beats fresher than Spongebob’s “Band Geeks”
Subbed not dubbed to keep cred with the Weebs

My words come from being a cultural conduit
Which you can reduce to a four letter word
Like it’s profane
But to me it’s propane (and propane accessories)
To make flames from this world's creative kindling
No sign of dwindling
These Embers I will remember

This is orbital writing & I envy it big time. I don't know what half this s**t means, but it's kinda like how I write, using "country hick" idioms & references & made-up words that many people do not understand, but they still relate to what I'm saying. I feel you are crystal clear despite your "out there" frame of reference, not becuz I see this thru your eyes, but becuz I can see this thru whatever "out there" frame of reference I occupy. I have always considered myself a nerd, love the word, but you take it to a fresh new place & I don't recognize half your references, but I love your zippy, uninhibited riffing imagination.
