My Son

He is the truth in every way
The one who never left me astray
Held me tight when the world was against me
You never forgot to say you loved me
And when the day came
we stood as one
you never knew i would have your son
A piece of me in you
Now look at him looking at you
with innocent eyes that will never betray
Till the day we die we said today
Now this little boy
has both of us
to guide and protect when the world turns to dust
You always promised to never leave me
and that was always a mystery
Now I know for sure that this is true
my child I will use to bond us like glue
No child support , no weekend visits
Your going to raise your child to the limits
Though we are no more
little man will always be yours
