No Escape

I ask myself why I let you win

You burn down each piece of me

And destroy the whole of my confidence

Yet I run to you

You hold me tighter with each kiss

Only to suffocate my thoughts

And just as I get a breath of air

I drown in you

Addicted to the pain you cause

Feeding off your treacherous touch

Like a bird in a cage

There is no escape.
