Chapter 3: The Hotel

Chapter 3: The Hotel

A Chapter by Princess Blondie

For about four days, Kristen showed them many spy gadgets, gave them a few of the gadgets, and showed them how to do some jumps into the air, kicks, and many other moves, including self defense. Since they were finished their spy training, Agent Brice told them that they would be staying at a five star hotel until they could plan out their mission and stop Rachel. They were all very excited that they were going to get to go to a hotel. They were all staying in the same room, but the brochure showed that the room had five different bedrooms, two kitchens, three living rooms, eight bathrooms, and a couple balconies. There would be plenty enough room for everyone. Brice had his own separate room that was right next door to the “Teen” room. There was a door that conjoined the rooms. They set off to the hotel that Friday afternoon.

When they got there, everyone was very excited. The hotel looked like a mini resort. It had many pools, a huge buffet area for every meal (including desserts, which Tina was happy about), hot tubs, an arcade, a spa, and many other things. Tina practically squealed to death when they entered the huge hotel. A short and bald butler greeted everyone at the entrance saying, “Hello! Welcome! I believe you all have a special reservation?” Brice replied, “Yes, we do. The suite and super deluxe suite.” Tina squealed again and exclaimed, “OH MY GAWSH! A SUPER DELUXE! YAY!” Tyler smiled and agreed with her. She smiled back and they sprinted towards the game room.

Meanwhile, Brice, Sierra, Avery, and Drew headed up the elevator to the 5th floor to see their rooms. “Were in room 505 right?” Sierra asked as Brice entered his room, 503. “Yep! You are correct.” Drew replied to Sierra with a smile as Avery unlocked the door.

The room was astonishing. The bedrooms were huge and well decorated. Tina called the pink bedroom. There was a huge balcony with a great view of the pools, hot tubs, and the beach. “Gosh! We have three extra bedrooms!” Tina said as she walked around exploring the deluxe suite. “Then they’re hang out rooms!” Tyler said as he grabbed some cheesecake from the fridge. Yeah, there was a lot of food.

Drew and Sierra went onto the balcony while Avery, Tina, and Tyler feasted on cheesecake and strawberries. “This is beautiful!” Sierra exclaimed as she took it all in. The sun was shining and there were birds and seagulls flying and chirping happily through the air. “This is...perfect.” Drew said as he turned and smiled at Sierra. Sierra turned to him and smiled back. Drew leaned closer to Sierra. She shut her eyes. Right when there locks were about to touch, Avery went onto the balcony, offering them some fruit. “Oh..umm..sorry, ya’ll. I feel awkward now!” Avery said as she saw Drew and Sierra separate themselves a little bit. “It’s cool.” Drew said as Sierra stood speechless. Drew had almost kissed her. Kissed HER. They had never kissed when they had dated before. The friendship to dating was just too awkward. She didn’t know why, but it wasn’t like that anymore. She wanted to date him again. He wanted the same.

Sierra and Drew followed Avery inside and saw Tina and Tyler arm wrestling. “Crap..you beat me.” Tyler said as he let Tina win and ate another bite of cheesecake. “Right!” Tina said as she stuck her tongue out at him and giggled.

Avery suggested that everyone go down to the beach and relax for the rest of the day. Everyone agreed and it was okay with Brice. They all got in their bathing suits. Avery wore a one piece red bathing suit a shade lighter than her curly red hair. Tina wore a two piece bikini that was dark blue. Sierra put on a two piece purple bathing suit. After everyone got ready, they headed down to the beach.

“Purple did always look good on you, Sierra.” Drew said as they sat on the sand right next to the shore. Sierra smiled and blushed. Tina and Tyler were in the water splashing each other. Avery was looking around trying to find a friend to hang out with. “Poor Avery. We should’ve had an even amount of agents on the mission.” Sierra said as she saw Avery by herself walking. Drew agreed.

As Avery was walking, she started thinking deeply as she walked. She accidentally bumped into someone. She fell to the ground. A boy around her age stared at her on the ground. “Oh! I’m sorry! Are you okay?” He said as he grabbed her hand and helped her get up from the sand. “Yes. Sorry. I’m a klutz. I better go wash off.” She said as she walked away extremely embarrassed. She had just run into a cute teenage boy. He followed her and said, “Hey! Wait! Can I come?” “Sure.” She replied with a smile. He winked back. Maybe Avery had found a friend after all.

Drew and Sierra began to play Frisbee. They were having a lot of fun. The wind began to pick up, and the Frisbee landed in the sand right next to an old lady sunbathing. The sand got on her face, sunglasses, and all over the book she was reading. Her face turned red and she frowned. Drew and Sierra grabbed the frisbee, apologized, and started hysterically laughing. “Gosh, what kind of people sun tan in jeans and a black T-shirt? I mean, really?” Sierra said as she giggled with Drew. “Apparently her!” “Way, to be obvious, Drew!” They both laughed as they continued playing Frisbee.

Tina and Tyler were soaking wet as they splashed each other. As they were splashing, Tina saw something squishy-like in the water. “OH MY GAWSH! A JELLY FISH! OH MY! HELP ME, TYLER!” Tina was terrified of jelly fish. She had gotten stung when she was only three. Tyler picked her up and carried her out of the water and set her down at the shore. Tina started blushing and giggling uncontrollably. “What?” Tyler said as he sat beside her. “Nothing. Ahhhh chills! Maybe we should go back in the water!” Tina said with a laugh and smile. He giggled and smiled back and put his arm around her to keep her warm. “We can go back in a few minutes. I need a break from all that splashing!” He replied as he reached over to the snacks and grabbed some chips for them to share.

Avery and her new friend were sitting on the shore. “So, you are?” “Calvin. You?” “Avery.” “Very nice to meet you, Avery. VERY nice.” They both grinned. They decided to go and hang out in the arcade.

The sun eventually began to set. Drew, Sierra, Tina, Avery, Calvin, and Tyler all sat on the balcony together watching the sunset. “I forgot this was a mission. More like a vacation!” Tina said as she sipped some lemonade. “It won’t be like this the whole time.” Drew said. Sierra replied, “Yeah. We will probably have to start the mission pretty soon.” “Yeah. Hey, does this hotel have any cookies?” They all laughed and watched the rest of the sunset. It was truly beautiful.
