She Walks In Grace

She Walks In Grace

A Poem by Rocans (Asher)

Why I Don't Write For You...

Why I don't write for you...
Words, though mighty, fail
To describe the depths my love
Most profound, most absolute

So I invoke my emotions of equal yoke
Ink of tears, writing from the shed of another tier
For a mother who walks in grace
Her name the meaning of my life
Her progress a song of harmony

A Goddess who birthed a Sun
To reflect your resplendent glow
Mom, be still and know...
My love for you is more than I can show

Perfection is sought after but can never be attained
My perception of your attitude has perfection in its frame
You were there in the beginning and in hardship you remain
In life and in death, I shall honor your name

Why I don't write for you...
Your greatness mocks poetry
Approximating what you mean to me reeks of impropriety
For how can feeble words describe someone akin to deity?
