Dandelion

Dandelion

A Poem by Thefierycrash

The seeds of a dandelion,
Flew off in the wind,
You know not where they go,
But that they will live again,

Underneath the pallid sky,
White pappus blew away,
Along with them the joy,
That  you held one day.

In a patch of grass in a distant land,
The florets shine again,
Sometimes solace is knowing,
That another's heart will grin.

Thank you!
I can't explain the joy that this poem brought me. It's amazingly well written, and I must say, I hung on every word. It painted a picture before my very eyes. Well done, and I look forward to reading more of your poems.
