The Translucent Baseball

The Translucent Baseball

A Poem by Elvy-decoo
"

It's a love poem

"

Woah what was that
Did someone hit the baseball
Someone swong the bat
There she goes flying high
Waiting for the ball to come from the sky

It seems so far
Carrying and driving like a car
Super fast
When it comes down I think I'll need a cast

It's still going
And I'm still running
It's still flying
And here I'm dieing

Please fall down
I promise I'll catch you with my glove
That happens to be brown
I'm watching you above
And now I'm waiting for you to hit the ground
Here she comes
What do I do now

I stick out my glove
And now I've learned to love

I told you I'd catch you
As I hear the fans boo

But here I am
Giving you everything I can.

I agree with MS you took baseball and fused it into a very creative love poem!
Fantastic, I completely enjoyed reading this and thank you for sharing:)

Ahhh.. darling. I love it how you took a topic as baseball and transformed it into a love poem.. wow! I could not have thought of this FOR SURE!! A happy feeling to be able to know how to "catch" someone, when they "fall" for you :D
