IncompleteA Poem by The CreationThe air is dense, And I find it hard to breathe, The distance between us grows larger, With every step you take, I’ve pushed you away, But you look back to see my face, Can you not see this is for you own good? Can you not see that I will be your ruin? What is it that you see in me? Is it something I yet fail to see? I push you once more, You drift further away, And as you disappear into the horizon, I wake up, A single tear runs down my cheek, Proof that I can at least remain half strong, For it is absent its other, It will arrive alone at my chin, And fall being only a part of a whole.© 2013 The Creation |
