Before Tomorrow's Yesterday EndsA Poem by The CreationTime is short, make every second count.
Let me enjoy this moment here with you,
Breathing your breath, Hearing your heart, Our fingers intertwined into an unbreakable bond, Hard as I may try I can't stay strong, I grow weaker, Because I'm with her, But for how long? I can't bear the thought of what will come after now, So I'll savor this moment before then, Before time learns to fly, Before the sparrow burns its wing, I'll hold you close to my side, Before life has no meaning, Before I can't stop you from leaving, I'll kiss you without hesitation, Before God forgets to hug the earth, And all great nations turn to dirt, I'll make these memories for us, And as the rose sings its bitter testament, "All beautiful things wither in the end," I'll always remember to be your friend, I hope you feel the same as I do now, In this moment here, Before Tomorrow's Yesterday Ends. © 2013 The Creation |
