EverydayA Poem by TheatergirlThis is a poem about having to live with a life you can never have
I listen in silence to your Everyday
My smile frozen in place as I teeter on Dante's circle. I laugh and listen to ordinary days spider cracks crawling across my heart I listen to your Everyday. I want grocery lists and baseball games and picnics. I listen to your Everyday. I want coffee on the porch and your ridiculous snore. I listen to your Everyday. I want road trips and chopping down Christmas trees. I listen to your Everyday and it is a torture I have no power to cease Seasons will pass. I will listen to your Everyday. Say I have your heart, She has your Everyday.
