Possession

Possession

A Poem by Thea Manayon

i want to keep you in my hair.

close to my mind,

but a little safe from my heart,

with me constantly.

boundless.

continuous.

but unlike my hair,

we remain the same.

we grow, but we do not change.

unlike my hair,

we do not belong to the world.

you are completely mine.
