Prologue

Prologue

A Chapter by The Water Queen

When I was young I had dreams of blood and death. The sort of dreams that many would shun a person for. I once dreamt that I was holding my white wings in my hands, bloody and all, facing the counsel of God. My wings, that had been given to me at birth, had been ripped, angrily and violently from my back. It seemed that in this dream I was trying to show God that I was different. That I would never be the type of being he wanted me to be. The dream had caused an uproar in my house. My father had believed it a sign that I was and always would be the shame of their family. That what the oracle had said at our births was the truth, I would betray God in some way. It was to be if not to come true. Yet God had always trusted me.

This particular dream is what should have happened to me and not to my twin sister. It should have been my fate to hold not hers.

I am Kilese, the very end.

I am one of the angels that God sent down to the Earth to protect the human race from their untimely fall into hell. But I had been sent down too late to be able to save their fall from grace. I sit on top of the highest tower in Heaven. The casalana, or tower of grace. Looking out and across the lush green land. I write now the story of Heaven and the great fall of Lucifer. The man that you will always call Satan because to use his real name would be considered forbidden at one time on the earth. The fall of Lucifer would be the beginning of men. The very rise of what God calls his greatest creation. A body of flesh and blood that could and would fall from grace if they refused his laws. It was a creation that could be tempted by things that could destroy their bodies. It was these things of the flesh that God had put on the earth to tempt his children. He was seeing who was really worthy to be a God like him. It would show him great heartache when the end of the world would come near.

I was born in the southern most beautiful part of Heaven to a lord and lady of God’s court. My mother is Galadriel, one of the first children of God. My uncle is Christ, and I must say that I am proud to say that. My father is Gabriel, yes the archangel of Heaven. He is a brilliant angel who never understood why God chose three other angels to save the world and not him. That had always been my father’s weakness; Pride. That was why God had chosen me and two other angels to save the world. Elise, the second highest angel in God’s court, was a bright soul who was kind and caring to all she met and knew. Her husband, Thenes, was a strong, stubborn man with a great knowledge of all things war like. Even though God had said there would be no war he still had many learn the weapons. And I am of strong and powerful. My blood contains the purest of blood. But why I was chosen will be a mystery to you.

By anyone’s standards I am a very strong willed and very powerful archangel. One of the strongest that God has seen or raised. I am almost two hundred years old now, which in Heaven is young. But I am very strong and very skilled. I know how to use a sword. My abilities have been honed and perfected in all the years that I have alone. My sister has long since been gone and my parents have long since abandoned me. God is the only one that I talk to now. My true father. The one who will judge me accordingly on the last days. I have done things that Would make you cringe from the purest thought of it. My actions can not be purified. I have spilt blood in such ways that God would have and should have punished me for.

But I am not all that loyal to God, our father and our humble king. I do not belong to him or his work in any way. I belong to his son Jesus and the work he had tried to bring upon the Earth. This is my story that I write as the sun rises high above the horizon.

You take on such a vast scope of time and space and do so in an amazingly elegant way. Powerful beginning.

This is a gripping story. You've gone to a place many are afraid of.

Just a few grammer typos,
"shun s person for." I think the "s" should be an "a",
"proud to say that., My father is Gabriel" Take out the comma

Other than that it is really good! I started to get confused at a few points, but you somehow manged to pull me right back into the story, just make sure you keep tying everything together. I am really curious to find out what happened to her sister now........it sounds so dark. I like how Kilese is an angel, and yet she has so many imperfections, it makes her so much easier to relate to. I am really liking this so far, keep it up!
