You and I

You and I

A Poem by The Water Queen

You and I

Were once one

Saw into each other's eyes

the pain from the past

and how we never won

Anything but borrowed time.

And when it was all done

I guess you decided to run

And you were gone!!!

You only left your small gun.

My heart was broken in half

with your intended

wooden knife!

I lay undead

Awake!

And the seasons pass.

With only

Death!!

Blood!!

As my eternal friends.

Your light

your warmth

Betrayed me!

So I turned to the

Night!!

Forever!!
