A Poem by The Water Queen

Words written

on the wall in crimson

A stunning beauty

ugly with pain

Sharp point meets

soft flesh!

Peircing soft flesh

sliding across

Drawing crimson liquid

to the surface

Tears mixing

as she begins to cry

The pain is overwhelming

but she keeps going

Biting her lip

as she fights back a scream

Drawing more blood

Feeling more pain

The little razor blade

is dirty with regret

Words written

on the walls in crimson

Stunning beauty

ugly with pain.

I really liked how you repeated the first lines once more, it gives a nice emphasis on them, but there was an overall awkwardness to the poem. I can't say that I didn't like it, but I can't say that I was consumed by it either. And in no way did I mean that to sound rude, I'm sorry if it did... ^^ "
