my world

my world

A Poem by The Water Queen

When I sleep at night,

darkness takes over light,

And in the morning,

When I wake,

Evil I cannot break.

wow. what I love most about the poem is how you've managed to create such a powerful effect in so few lines. really good poetry here and very thought provoking.

Short but powerful.. dreams can reflect reality.. but it can also reflect anything we watch or see on a daily basis. When I have a nightmare (rare) I try to remember the events.. usually it's a reflection of a news story or event around me. This was chilling..

Poem told a strong story. The dreams of our night can be the nightmares of our days. A outstanding poem.

Short but very nice, yet also intense in just a few lines.

Your words form a profoundly perfect cycle. There is a darkness that cannot be overcome.. a depth of despair. Gripping!

Sounds like a endless night. Quite fearful and helpless

The day takes the role night usually has. Vivid and frightening.
