Stardust

Stardust

A Poem by iNSOMniAC
"

A poem I made about the Holocaust.

"

Lines of stars crowded in the dark,

Their voices like pure fear

Above each woven yellow mark

A faultless face would shed a tear

They were chained to their differences

And their protests pulled the trigger

Bullets pierced through the hopes of men,

The guns of greed held by the sinners

Now the lively streets grow tired

As the stars give up to fate

The last of the shots were fired

And many souls did they take

The rest of the stars stayed in their place

As the wagons piled high--

No one tried to skip or race

To their destinies on that night

I carried the souls of those children,

The dust of the fallen stars

And watched the innocent, in millions,

Be carried away in cars

Watching my rear-view mirror, and what it is reflecting: it's an image that's broken.
