Seven Shades of Blue

Seven different ways that I see the color blue.

There upon the woman's pale face

Was a hint of blue;

A color that death streaked across her lips

There in his eyes were

The icy blue skies of tomorrow,

Which would soon be called today

There in London sat a big blue box,

And this box did nothing but show

The comrades inside the very edges of our universe

There between two lands laid

Tears of deep blue,

Waving to the sky like a long-lost friend

Blue streaked the humans' pale skin,

Like rivers down a snowy valley

Where Spring tattooed its name in our veins

Blue was the color that the two

Kids made in their parting;

The very color of their love

Blue was the color of Earth

From a mammoth distance;

Blue, the most human color

Wow, that was really beautiful... I love it. Remember to keep your head up, despite the fact that you feel thorns from where your crown was, you're alive and you have sweet victory. :) I can see a lot of your sadness and pain in this, hidden beneath the still beautiful overlay of how blue is the most human color. Both poems, the one hidden, and the one not, are amazing.
